Overview

Individuals in these roles generate and evaluate complex ideas. They also initiate, design and execute major learning and development functions within an organisation. Typically, they would have full responsibility and accountability for the personal output and work of others.

This qualification may apply to leaders and managers in an organisation where learning is used to build organisational capability.

Entry Requirements

ACOS requires that all students:

  • Are over the age of 18.
  • Complete a Language, Literacy, Numeracy, Digital [LLND] assessment to demonstrate that they have the required level of LLN skills required by the course.
  • Have completed a Bachelor degree.

Or

  • Have completed a Diploma or Advanced Diploma qualification in related fields of study and 1-year equivalent full-time relevant workplace experience.

Or

  • Three years equivalent full-time relevant workplace experience; and completed a Year 12 HSC or equivalent.
  • Have intermediate computer skills.

Further Information – International Students

This course is available to international students who are able to provide evidence that they:

  • Meet the English proficiency requirements with a valid IELTS Academic score of 6.0 with no score below 5.5 in any band, or PTE Academic score of 50.
  • Are suitable for entry via an interview (online or in person) as part of the course selection process.
  • It is a condition of entry that upon acceptance, students provide evidence of having an Australian Student Visa [subclass 500].
