Education Pathway

BSB60120 Advanced Diploma of Business graduates may continue their education in courses such as:

  • BSB80120 Graduate Diploma of Management (Learning)

Course Duration & Delivery

Duration:

  • 52 weeks comprising of 40 scheduled tuition weeks
  • 12 weeks of holidays

Delivery:

  • 20 hours per week of classroom-based learning
  • 8 hours per week of self-study

Course Credit

Australian College of Studies can grant you credit towards your course for units of competency that you have already completed with another RTO or authorised issuing organisation. There is no charge to apply for Credit. To apply, fill in the Credit Application Form and submit it as part of your enrolment. *Please refer to your Student Handbook for more information on Course Credit.

Course Entry Requirements

Entry to this qualification is limited to those who:

  • Have completed a Diploma or Advanced Diploma from the BSB Training Package (current or superseded equivalent versions).
    or
  • Have two years equivalent full-time relevant
    workplace experience in an operational or leadership
    role in an enterprise.

All students must:

  • Be over the age of 18.
  • Complete a Language, Literacy, Numeracy, Digital [LLND] assessment to demonstrate that they have the required level of LLND skills required by the course.
  • Demonstrate an interest in, knowledge of, and
    suitability for work in business.
    Demonstrate the level of maturity required to be
    responsible for business.

Further Information – International Students

This course is available to international students who can provide evidence that they:

  • meet one of the following English proficiency requirements:
  • a valid IELTS score of 5.5 with no score below 5.0 in any band, or equivalent.
  • evidence of successful completion of at least five (5) years (full time equivalent) study taught and assessed in English.
  • completed an Australian Certificate IV qualification or above.
  • Students must possess an Australian Study Visa (subclass 500).
