Entry Requirements

ACOS requires that all students:

Are over the age of 18
Have access to internet, webcam, email and MS Word
Have language, literacy and numeracy (LLN) skills sufficient to read, understand and follow infection prevention and control policies, procedures, signage and workplace instructions; complete workplace records and documentation accurately; and communicate effectively with clients, colleagues and supervisors regarding infection risks and control measures.
Have a reasonable level of physical fitness to safely carry out infection prevention and control practices, including maintaining personal hygiene, correctly using and removing personal protective equipment (PPE), cleaning and disinfecting equipment and work areas, handling waste safely, and performing other practical tasks required during training and assessment activities.
